November 1, 2009 - October 31, 2010

Awards List:

· Angler of the Year for both the Female and Male angler leading in the most categories of species caught.

· The boat that qualifies the most anglers in the categories of species caught.

Winning anglers and boats will be posted on an Anglers’ Club plaque to remain with the Club in perpetuity, in addition to prizes and awards.

Species/Categories eligible for the Tournament:

Trout, Tarpon, Red fish, Snook, Dolphin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Kingfish, Tuna, and Cobia.  (The categories have not been separated because most of these fish can be caught inside or outside.)

**Please Note:  Categories have been limited to local fish and include the Bahamas and Keys. No fish caught on a charter boat will count in the tournament.

Winners will be based on catches reported to George Greenstein.  Reports should be made in a timely manner.  Reports should include both quantity and size/length as well as photos when possible.  Keep in mind that it is important to report all fish and fishing trips to George, whether or not the catch is a winner in the tournament, so that recognition can be given in our news letter and at meetings.

A “Leader Board” will be kept throughout the year and will travel from the Marina to Club dinners, meetings and other inside activities.

Any other fishing activity (such as pond fishing or the pompano outing) will be considered an individual event, will stand on its own, and will end at the conclusion of that event. However if a category/species fish is caught, it will count in the yearly tournament.

Good fishin’ and good luck………..
