The September light dinner at the Club consisted of hotdogs and hamburgers, sides, and brownies for dessert. About 60 folks enjoyed the evening, which included some great words of wisdom from our local celebrity, outdoors news columnist Ed Killer, and our regular 50-50 drawing.
Ed brought along his son, Lucas, and shared his views of the local water quality issues facing our fisheries. He also talked a bit about the mullet runs and how they enhance the local fishing results. We are currently experiencing this season’s run, which means the fishing should be good. As always, Ed was very informative and interesting. To follow his insights, check out his column in the local Scripps newspapers and online at www.tcpalm.com.
The evenings big 50-50 winners were Ray Clarke and Sam Portolese.
A special thanks to all of the attendees, our speaker Ed Killer, the Club Staff, and especially to our dinner committee led by Dee Polletti and Diane Foran for a wonderful evening.
