Ballantrae Angler’s Club

Our November Membership Dinner was a rousing success, with about 85 members enjoying Steaks a la Carrino, and gourmet sides dishes and desserts prepared by the members for sharing.

 

In addition to the wonderful vittles, the Second Annual Tournament winners received their trophies and prizes, including the Master Angler, Barry Doying, who won for the second year. Barry is still our only Master Angler,  for having won the most specie categories.

 

Bob Dunning displayed his 63” mounted trophy Dolphin Cow, which he caught during a club event to the Keys last season. Bob has donated the Dolphin to the club to serve as our mascot and to be mounted in our new HOA building when it’s completed.

 

Our 50-50 winners were new member Debbie Rocheleau for $75 (pictured below right) and Claire Stevens for $100 (pictured below in a passionate embrace with her husband Gerry, who also just happens to be our club treasurer).
