(Continued from page 7) our estuary but far out the Inlet into the ocean. It is likely that the pompano (and tarpon and others) just bypassed us in favor of better waters further south. That most definitely won’t happen this season with Lake O close to 4 feet low.
So for now we are in a waiting pattern. If the pomps do come in this winter it will likely be well before our Pompano Outing in later January or backup date in February (Sign up now by the way).
