Hi fellow anglers! As we approach our famous Anglers’ Club Dinner & Auction in just a couple of weeks (Monday, April 14), we still need auction items to be donated. You can do that just by calling Art Warden at 380-0533 or me at 337-4370. We will be happy to pick them up. The cut off for donations will be April 7TH so that we will have time to put your name on the donors’ list and the sign.
The fishing has been a little slow due to the weather, but that is normal for this time of the year. We should see a break into more Spring-like conditions in a few weeks, with less wind and fish moving north. Look for an invite to go fishing if you are signed up for the yearly tournament.
We also had our Pompano tournament after a long delay. I would like to thank Ron Klowden for sticking in there and seeing it through. Even though the fish were few, Ron put together a great outing.
At this time, our Keys trip is all set up. As I understand it, there is still room for one more angler to go. Don’t miss out on this fun filled trip.
We are always looking for input and for people to get involved with the Anglers’ Club. So whenever you get a request from us, your Anglers’ Club, for your input, PLEASE RESPOND! It is very difficult for us to make informed decisions for you, our members, without your ideas and guidance. It will only take a minute to respond, and your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks & Good Fishin’, Hal |
